Superb pair of candlesticks convertible into double candlesticks in silvered bronze after a model by Claude Galle or Antoine Ravrio. On a circular base with a frieze of streaks, an octagonal shaft with the characteristic claws of a lion soars to support the two arms of light. Possibility of using them as a candlestick alone or to put the system with two arms of light. Good original condition, one thread broken and repaired with a bolt (see photos). Period late 18th century, early 19th century. Delivery 18 euros in France, 35 euros in the EU and 100 euros rest of the world.
