On our painting in the foreground in front of the child Jesus, lies the Divine Lamb with bound feet, announcing the sacrifice to come. Mary tenderly lifts the veil to show shepherds of all ages the Savior whom they have come to adore. The white area of the cradle is the symbol of innocence. At the back, a small Flemish town under the snow from the beginning of the 17th century and characters running to join the shepherds.
