Cuirassier officer's HELMET model 1874. Steel shell. Marmouzet, crest, pomegranate headband, plume holder, rosettes and chinstraps with scales, lined with black velvet, in brass. Marmouzet puff in red horsehair, mane and mat in black horsehair. Visor and neck pad lined with sheepskin. Interior headdress in morocco. Scarlet plume. France at the end of the 19th century, In service until the First World War. Good general condition, with traces of use. Size 55/56 cm.
