Ec Fr. Son and pupil of Nicolas de Larmessin Le Jeune. He was by far the most remarkable artist of his family and one of the best French engravers. It was chosen by Mr. CROZAT to reproduce part of his magnificent collection. he was the skilful translator of Watteau, Nicolas Vieughels, François Boucher, Galloche, but he is especially famous for his prints after Lancret.
