"Still Life With A Chair And A Bouquet Of Spring Flowers (charles Lebon 1906-1957)"
In a serene and springtime atmosphere, the self-taught Brussels painter Charles Lebon delicately offers a vision of the room he occupied during his Ardennes period around 1930. The artist, exhibited in famous Belgian museums, is known for his landscapes and portraits, this still life painting is therefore a rather rare work in his artistic career. The open window at the top left also offers, in the form of a reminder, a view of the typical houses with red roofs of this region.
