Dimensions without frame: 28 x 20 cm. Monogrammed and dated 39.
Rosemond MEYS (London 1915- Brussels?).
Surrealist painter, draftsman and collagist. Studies at the academy of La Cambre (Brussels). Student and friend of the surrealist painter Paul Delvaux. Lived a few years in Prague (Czechoslovakia). Meetings with Czech surrealists.
Exhibitions in Brussels. Retrospective in Schaerbeek (Brussels).
Represented in the collection of collages of the Verbeke Foundation in Kemzeke (Belgium).
