Marcel Boon (Leuven, 1938–2011)
Belgian painter and printmaker. Trained at the Brussels Academy (1954–1957). Professor at the RNS in Hasselt (1959–1965), director of the Kooekelberg Academy beginning in 1968, professor at the Ghent Academy from 1969 to 1972, and director of the Woluwé-Saint-Pierre Academy in 1971. Works held in various print collections.
Co-author, with Willy Juwet and Gérard Gaudaen, of the reference catalog *Belgian Engravers of Today*, published by the Ministry of Culture.
