Painter of flowers, architecture and decorative painter. Specialized in the decoration of private mansions, state rooms and public buildings. Trained at the Academy of Ghent with professor and director Henri Van Der Haert. Participated in the Ghent Salon in 1868 and 1874. Executed numerous projects for the upper middle class, the aristocracy and the Belgian royal family.
