After studying aeronautical engineering, Jacques Blin worked in this branch for several years as a draftsman; attracted by the plastic arts, he approached ceramics, then he devoted himself entirely to it from 1948-1949. In 1954, he set up a workshop in Paris and exhibited at the Maison de la Chimie and at the Salon des Céramistes et Métiers d 'art. His molded pieces with speckled enamel and engraved decorations of primitive birds and animals are highly sought after.
