Pair of fine earthenware "Poseidon" flowerpots in round shape, with exterior polychrome decoration of Poseidon and Amphitrite in cartouches surmounted by a knot on a white background in reserve of marine grotesques in the style of the Italian Renaissance (Urbino ).
Polychrome interior decoration of foliage, foliage handles, resting on four small snail feet. GIEN, blue stamp 1871-1875. High. 17.5, Diam. 26.5 cm. This pair this flowerpot is in excellent condition, without shine or hair.
Each model having been painted by hand, we have slight differences in tones in the colors of the cartridges.
