Superb Art Deco wrought iron wall console, attributed to Edgar Brandt
These consoles were certainly placed in the entryways of the apartments.

The high-quality base is in solid wrought iron (and heavy), with geometric decoration, volutes and stylized floral basket in its center.

We also find here the small mirror balls quite characteristic of Edgar BRANDT (1880-1960) productions, but the piece is not signed by the artist.

The marble (broken into 2 parts by the past and restored/sticked), also very thick, is very textured with warm colors that contrast harmoniously with the base.
