"Louis XV Period Giltwood Console Table"
This 18th-century console table, in a crossbow shape, rests on two cabriole legs joined by a stretcher decorated with shells and floral scrolls, richly carved with rocaille motifs. The three shaped stretchers are openwork. The top is made of royal red marble, reattached, and set with a molding known as a "corbin beak." It has undergone restorations consistent with age and use.
