Empire Style Secretary Stamped

Secretary happiness of the day Empire style return from Egypt in mahogany and mahogany veneer. Front with two drawers, one with a belt and a flap covered with a writing desk sheathed in green leather decorated with a small iron, the whole framed by two caryatid columns. Interior decorated with colonettes with caryatids, four small drawers and two secrets. Lower part with columns, carried by winged sphinx, framed by gilded brass rods, the background in mirror. Lion claw feet. Finely chiseled and gilded bronze ornamentations. Two keys, one decorated with an eagle. Green marble top from Genoa. Beautiful Parisian work from the 1st half of the 20th century.. Old restorations. Furniture composed of old elements. Stamped L. Fossorier. Good condition. Dimensions width-78cm heigh-135cm depth-46.5cm.
