Oil Painting On Canvas "fereastra" By Romul Nutiu, 1993

Painting belonging to what is the current of Romanian abstract expressionism.
A “window” is represented where the pictorial film is characterized by a geometric subdivision of space which alternates flat monochrome white backgrounds with polychrome spaces dominated by yellow, black and blue, with green reflections.
A chaotic but at the same time balanced whole, in which the intention of the artist Nutiu is to create a new perspective by developing his personal vision of space and spatial limits - a theme very dear to the Romanian painter, on which he will work. for several years.

The painting in question is signed in the upper left corner. On the back there is a label from the "Galleria de Arta Timisoara" indicating the title, date and name of the author; on the rear frame there are also various buffers. The canvas is surrounded by perimeter strips of wood fixed to the canvas and colored with white tempera.

The painting is also archived at "Gallery 414", Munich, Germany and is provided with the archival card of Dr Joana Greves.
