Adilon received his training at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, where he settled to continue his work. It was only at the end of his studies at the school that he fully dedicated himself to painting. Winner of the Grand Prix Othon Friesz in 1956, he participated in numerous annual Salons in Paris. In 1990, the Brou Museum in Bourg-en-Bresse held an exhibition in his honor, showcasing more than a thousand works, all created over the previous five years. This exhibition was later presented in Göppingen, Germany. In 2001, Adilon also exhibited at the Rectangle in Lyon.
