Bronze Signed Barye Fonte Barbedienne Le Cerf Bramant
Old bronze, late 19th century cast iron. Very nice patina. It is signed Barye (1795-1875) and marked F. Barbedienne founder on the terrace (see photo). It is numbered 4663 and engraved 43 under the Terrace. It is also hollow marked on the edges of the HH terrace (see photo). Terrace dimensions: 18 x 5.6 cm Height: 22.3 cm This bronze is present in the catalog raisonné of the artist by Michel Poletti and Alain Richarme under the reference A154. It is unusual, few casts of Cerf Bramant have been made.
