Silver-plated bronze ring boxDecoration of a full-length heron, head raised, fixed on a grooved terrace.Superb work by the goldsmith Claude Pillet in Lyon, hallmarks on the base including C.Pillet in Lyon, initials CP with a stylized press(?).A final hallmark with a rooster in an oval.CONDITION:Scratches and wear from use, an element in the beak of the wader incomplete...a slight deformation on the edge of the terrace.
