Neoclassical Expandable Dining Table, Cherry Wood, Chestnut, France, circa 1820
Large neoclasscial, rectangular Biedermeier or French Restoration extending / expandable Dining room table. Expandable up to almost 4 meters. Beautifully solid cherry wood, hand-polished with shellac. Two extension leaves a 100 cm with chestnut wood boards in a cherry frame. Leave plates slide on felt underneath the plate. One drawer on the side (36 cm wide). Old solid oak extending mechanism. Fully restored condition.
