Lenticular vase / sculpture in chamotte sandstone pyrite slightly convex, with asymmetrical cubist collar, partially enameled and with abstract geometric decorations of colors (blue oxide, earth, various ochres), materials (scarifications, sandstone, enamel) and shapes. Very good state. Unsigned. Weight: blue enamel: 1,253kg. A place of ceramic creation since the 12th century, La Borne is renowned for its production of stoneware pottery and actively participated in the revival of French pottery, especially during the 30 glorious years, through its abundance of creators and creations.
