Neo-classic School 1803 : "the Sleeping Pastor"

Neoclassical school 1803: “The sleeping Pâtre”, pencil drawing and stump 70 X 54 cm, mounted in its beautiful period frame 91 X 75cm (small gaps). Directly from an attic, this pencil drawing and stump did not look like much when I bought it: covered with dust, its broken window, big white halos ... But thanks to a beautiful restoration (dusting and deacidification paper, change of the support fabric and new marie-louise), it is presentable again! You can still make out the trace of the halos a little, but it is quite readable. This young sleeping shepherd, fully responding to the canons of neoclassical aesthetics and monogrammed L C.
