Set of 4 extraordinary Biedermeier balloon chairs from Austria / Vienna circa 1900. Solid ash veneer, inlaid with bog oak and mahogany. Magnificent balloon shape of the backrest. Condition restored with shellac varnish (Polish French). Second Biedermeier, built around 1900 in the style of the early Biedermeier (around 1820). Newly upholstered in the traditional method with brown-gray velvet by JAB with the surrounding double keder. Great seating comfort. Dimensions: H 88cm, seat h 50 cm, width 50 cm, depth 50 cm
