"Large Bust In Patinated Terracotta"
Important patinated terracotta bust of the Countess Du Barry, presented on a pedestal-shaped base in cherry red marble. The countess Du Barry born Jeanne Bécu de Cantigny (1743 - 1793) model who can be compared because very inspired both by the hairstyle and the bodice of that of Augustin Pajou (Pajou first sculptor of the King, carries out a voluptuous portrait of the favorite of Louis XV which highlights the beauty of the model).
