Bouquetiere Ou Pique-fleurs En Faience De Rouen flag

Object description :

"Bouquetiere Ou Pique-fleurs En Faience De Rouen "
BOUQUETIERE OR PIQUE-FLEURS IN ROUEN FAIENCE

A large blue net surrounds the base and surmounts a frieze of stylized foliage. The top is decorated with a frieze alternating grids and lambrequins. Slightly bluish cover. Seven cut sides for the front, two holes on the flat rear part to allow hanging, because the decor is made to be seen from above. Under the base, I have kept a trace of the past, namely a label bearing the name of CHARLES DES GUERROIS: historian, poet, and French librarian. Born and died in Troyes. Maybe an inventory tag ... Visible chips (see photo)
