Portrait of a man in a medallion with a straight profile made with the Physionotrace. The Physionotrace is an invention of Gilles-Louis Chrétien (1754-1811): engraver and portrait painter, dating from 1785. The whole is kept under a flat glass certified by its entourage in brass with bronze medal patina, in a round wooden frame blackened.
