Beautiful pair of porcelain plates from Japan/China, 18th century. Beautiful plant decoration with, in its center and in a cartouche with scalloped threads, Lotus and Water Lilies flowers, available in three flamboyant colors: orange, blue and gold. The decoration continues from top to bottom and from left to right with the same plant and stylized decoration. Finally, a large diamond-shaped trellis net finishes the decoration on the outside punctuated with flowers. The whole is very fresh and of beautiful quality, the colors are flamboyant. Japanese or Chinese production from the 18th century. Please note: a few tiny chips on the edges. Ideal for completing a collection on a wall decoration or even on a beautiful 18th century presentation console.
