Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Clock
Beautiful Louis XVI style clock in marble and gilded bronze. Young girl in an apron full of apples looking at a nest of doves on an oak tree. Enamelled dial with Roman numerals on a fluted column barrel rudenté with pearls. Finely chiseled bronze openwork hands. Rectangular base decorated with garlands of fruits and flowers, tied ribbons, pompoms and rosettes. Movement signed Planchon in Paris, stamp "Samuel Marti, Gold Medal, Paris 1900". Circa 1900.
