Rare pair of palace sheaths in Serravezza breccia marble. Rectangular top with molded surround. Flared fronts with reserves: monogrammed leathers, laurel falls and ribbons. Openwork sides with brass scroll grilles. Bases with gilded bronze cavettos: fluting and acanthus. Ingot mold plinths: laurel friezes and lictor's bundles. Circa 1860.
