Pair Of Dalmatian Dogs In Brussels Faience Eighteenth
Superb and rare pair of Dalmatian dogs in Brussels earthenware from the 18th century. They are based on an olive green base ornament on the edge of geometric nets. Dalmatians a dog and a bitch sitting on their hindquarters wears a white dress spotted with black dots. Superb quality of the whole in excellent condition with blue, yellow, green, and manganese colors, probably the work of the Van Bellinghen Brothers (1802-1820) factory.
