Rare polychrome and gilt porcelain clock, Consulate period / beginning of Empire circa 1800-1805.

Egyptian women standing at the angles ; a trompe-l'oeil gilt decoration simulates relief - musical instruments, winged griffins, cornucopias - on a bleu and gold backgroung imitating marble.

Paris Porcelain, beginning of Empire period, most likely Dagoty manufacture (unsigned piece).

Excellent general condition, no accident except for some enamel wear at the corners of the top cornice. The movement is functional and has been revised by our watchmaker.

Beautiful amateur's piece, Empire porcelain clocks are very rare, furthermore when they are intact.

Height : 32cm
