Very fine model of a three-masted boat *, flying the French flag and attached to the port of Cancale. Definitely pontoon work. Full hull. * A three mast barque is a sailboat whose first two masts are rigged with square sails and the rear mast receives a different rigging (gaff sail). Very common in the 19th century.
