Pair of green ceramic Canakkale (Turkey) ewers, called "Demoiselles d'Avignon", early XIXth century
Sizes Height 36 and 37cm
Condition: no fel,break or repairs, minimal using trimmings
These pitchers were brought back early XIXth century from the turkish seaports, where these bottles were produced. They had a great success for their content, the raki, aniseed alcohol that will have a few hours of glory in the South of France !
