Arched pine table.
Back composed of 17 alternating ribs in rosewood and maple. Bridge, edge, neck, head, pickguard in different varieties of rosewood.
Ebony fingerboard 16 brass frets, mother of pearl dots.
Mechanical brass bone buttons.
Handwritten label: Marseille 5 Février1892 / Fabrique de mandolines / Avenue du / Prado 32
and signed L. GAILLARD on the table bars
Scale: 325 mm.
With a gut set up and tuned G3 / B3 / E4 / A4 / D5 / G5 the mandolin is playable.
