Pastel portrait of a gentleman in a waistcoat, blue jacket and lace bow tie. Pastel on Paper mounted on canvas and stretcher, the line visible across the width below the neck is not a tear but a defect in the paper. With its slightly wavy old glass and bubbles Frame in molded wood and gilded with leaf decorated with rows of pearls and stripes of hearts. Posterior period frame with some gaps around.
