Elegant, comfortable set of four Biedermeier shovel chairs in cherrywood, Southern Germany around 1820

Cherry veneer and solid, shellac hand-polished. Shovel-shaped back. Black mottled velvet fabric by JAB with double keder.

Fits to a set of 6 shovel chairs in cherry tree, second period around 1890. The 10 chairs are identical and were all 10 pieces together in one household, 6 pieces are built later). Here we sell the four original ones. Please write us a message if you are interested in all 10 chairs.
