Pair Of Empire Armchairs, Bronze And Mahogany, Circa 1880.
A very fine pair of Empire style armchairs, crafted in mahogany with chased bronze mounts. The tapered legs are adorned with a caryatid at the top, terminating in lion's paw feet. In good condition, with some minor wear to the upholstery (normal), and very slight signs of wear to the woodwork, which has a beautiful patina. The velvet upholstery is in good condition.
