Portico Clock Movement Moon Phase And Louis XVI Calendar
Monumental portico clock in white and black marble and gilded chiseled bronzes. Movement with moon phases and date signed "Romilly à Paris". On each white marble pilaster is applied a garland of flowers and a caryatid in gilded bronze placed on black marble urns, on which rest two cupids which frame an eagle encircling a snake. White marble base adorned with a gilded bronze frieze representing a scene of angel musicians. At its center is the wire movement with moon phases and date. Sun pendulum. Revised and guaranteed movement. Condition: very good (The visible split glass will be replaced)
