Oil on cardboard representing the village of Albarracin in the province of Terruel in Spain. Work of the Bordeaux painter Pierre Billard (Tonneins 1900- Bordeaux 1971), he was a member of the Atelier group and sent shipments to the Bordeaux Independents where Daniel Astruc, administrator of the Beaux-Arts noticed him. This work is characteristic of his thickened work giving off a bright and contrasting light recounting his many travels (Spain in 1932, Basque Country, Brittany, South East of France ...).
