Alfred Marie Le Petit, born December 12, 1876 in Fallencourt, died December 17, 1953 in La Frette-sur-Seine, is a French painter, decorator, engraver and cartoonist. Alfred-Marie Le Petit was a pupil of Fernand Cormon and Léon Bonnat. He executed several landscapes of the English Channel, the North Sea, Le Havre, Rouen. It illustrates Maupassant's book "Sur l'Eau". He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Indépendants from 1908 to 1914. Alfred Marie Le Petit was the son of Alfred Le Petit (1841-1909), painter, caricaturist and photographer.
