Boulle Napoleon III Cartel
Cartel style Boulle, Napoleon III, bronze, tortoise shell and brass nets. The cartel rests on a plinth and a wall console. The movement has an enamelled dial, Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. The clock with a rich decoration of sculpted bronzes with rockery and palm motifs, is surmounted by a sculpture representing a seated love. It rests on 4 bronze feet depicting winged dragons. The facade is decorated with a brass flower basket inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The base and the wall console are also decorated with brass nets, tortoiseshell and carved bronzes. Boulle style.
