Charles Demory born in 1833 in Arras is a painter of history and genre scene. He took painting lessons from his father and then went to study at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Student of Cogniet He participated in the Paris Salon from 1868 to 1884 with paintings of Breton interiors, landscapes and Norman scenes. He died in 1895.
