Service Of 7 Ice Cups, And Display, Paris, Louis XVI, Signed Dihl
Artist: Rue De Bondy
Quite rare, an ice service, with its pretty little cups on pedestal, and its large display, Dihl and Gerhard factory, late Louis XVI. White Paris hard porcelain, decor of green leaves with red balls, cups and display surrounded by black chains with long links, and strange thing: preparation in gray to receive a gilding of nets, flowers and stars which has never was executed, and that we see in low contrast on the white background. (Hypothesis: the order was interrupted by the Revolution .....)
Dimensions: tray: 25cm x 7cm, cups: 6.2cm x 7 x 6cm diameter.
Good condition, 2 of the cups have a broken handle, one has a tiny chip, 2 tiny surface cracks on the tray, see photos.
