It rests on a large cast iron base with 4 richly carved faces of acanthus leaves, animal heads, cornucopias and floral patterns. The base is 90 cm high. Very well made, this statue comes from the Maupassant park in the Bois de Savary in Allonnes in Maine et Loire.
