Large desk seating four people. Exceptional size. Perfect as a work desk. It is positioned in the center of a room. Provenance: Jura Prefecture office. Mid-19th century, Charles X period. Made of walnut and burr walnut, it rests on four tapered legs with brass sabots. It opens with ten drawers in the frieze. On the sides corresponding to the widths, there are four false drawers and one drawer in the front. On the sides corresponding to the lengths, there is a central drawer, two independent side drawers, and a double storage drawer. It is covered in a large camel-colored leather with a gold border. The top is covered with a large glass panel. One of the drawers bears a stamp, Jantet. All the locks are functional. It measures 180 cm x 120 cm.
