18th Century Bressane Violin Clock
18th century Bressane clock in working order, it has its own weight, balance and movement. It is in oak and ash burl., With a small marquetry decorated with a star in its center. The upper part with arched and largely molded cornice opens with a small glass door on a dial movement enamelled with Roman numerals and bronze rooster decoration. It has a so-called "violin" shape, which gives a very elegant curve. It rests on two arched feet at the front. Very beautiful achievement of Bresse, in Ain, from the 18th century
