Pendulum Bronze Napoleon III Signed Mathurin Moreau
Important pendulum in patinated and gilded bronze. Red morello cherry marble base decorated with gilded bronze: quiver, ribbons, pearls, acanthus leaves, grooves and drapes. Enameled dial with Roman numerals and garlands of polychrome flowers. Finely chiseled needles. Large patinated bronze subject depicting a woman with the dove, signed Mathurin MOREAU (1822-1912). Stamp of the Société des Bronzes de Paris. Napoleon III period. Total height 97 cm, bronze 80 cm, base width 31 cm, base depth 31 cm. The pendulum was revised by a clockmaker by trade. Small chips on the base. Delivery possible.
