A beautiful flat desk veneered in rosewood and palisander. Double-sided decoration, molded top, veneered edges. Leather top edged with gilt (worn). Three drawers without crossbars, cabriole legs with five sides. Beautiful ornamentation of finely chased gilt bronze: frames, acanthus scrolls, flowers and flames, sabots. Leather and oak leaf keyhole escutcheons, openwork key. Oak frame. Signed F. Linke on a bronze mount. Circa 1880. Height under central drawer 60.5 cm, height of top 75.5 cm, width 151 cm, depth 81 cm. Delivery possible.
