Very elegant box of early nineteenth pressed tortoiseshell and white cedar. Round shape, pattern cover represents the triumphal arch of finely carved carousel. The bottom of the box is decorated with a central sun and stars made by pressing, all on a scale inside. Box of good quality and in good condition.
