Regency Style Applique Cartel
Large wall sconce and console in Regency style rosewood veneer. Violin body, dial with white enameled cartridges, Roman numerals in blue in a bronze entourage decorated with foliage scrolls and engraved with Arabic numerals. Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes: fame, masks, espagnolettes and putti with musical attributes. Sun pendulum. Napoleon III period. Woodwork in good used condition (a slight lack on the right side). Movement revised and guaranteed. Cartel: height 98 cm, width 44, depth 18. Console: height 37 cm, width 46 cm, depth 21.
