Rare mahogany jockey scale of English origin, Birmingham. Manufacturer's plate "W & T Avery" on the side of the scale system. This scale was made to be transported (thanks to two side handles) to weigh the jockey before the horse race, since their weight was regulated. On our seat the carrying handles have been changed. Good condition of the wood and leather upholstery of the seat, original. Small side drawer.
