Wood painting, XVIIth century.Can be originally placed in a private chapel (see the unidentified coat of arms on the lower left), it was placed in a frame also in wood at a very old time. At that time also, wood was placed to prevent the left and right parts of the painting from being separated. This scene represents the martyrdom of a saint, perhaps one of the fathers of the Church, dressed as a bishop, whom a half-naked man is about to decapitate with his sword. Missing paint.
